Finding the perfect 55+ community home. Kristine Labar, one of our agents, worked with a client named Pam. She wanted to move into a 55+ community to be surrounded by neighbors and enjoy that sense of connection. Pam found a home she loved, but the inspection revealed issues the seller refused to fix. In the end, she had to make the tough choice to walk away even though she had already sold her previous property. 

Just two days later, another home opened up in the same community, and it was even better! Its layout is perfect for her and her dog. It has a screened porch overlooking the lake and is fully furnished. It also has a golf cart in the garage that Kristine negotiated into the deal. What started as a setback became a win, and Pam still loves her home today.

Negotiating a winning deal in new construction. Another client story comes from Bryan Fields on our team. He recently worked with buyers who wanted new construction, which is always competitive. Builders often offer incentives, but there’s still a lot of pressure in these situations. 

Bryan was able to negotiate $12,000 off the list price and secure an additional $20,000 in closing cost assistance. That’s a $32,000 swing in his client’s favor, and it made a huge difference for them in their purchase.
