Get your running shoes ready—we’re hosting a 5K and 1-mile race on June 14 at Coastal Carolina University to kick off
the hurricane season.
Are you ready to kick off hurricane season in the best way possible at Myrtle Beach? Ed’s Hurricane Hustle 2025 is just around the corner! This exciting event will feature a 5K and a one-mile race, offering something for runners of all levels. It’s a day full of energy, fun, and Teal Nation pride that you won’t want to miss. Here are the event details:

- Time: 5K Race: 8:00 a.m.
One-Mile Race: 8:10 a.m. - Location: Blanton Park, Coastal Carolina University
Packet pickup for Ed’s Hurricane Hustle will be available at Black Dog Running Company on June 12 and 13, and on race morning at Brooks Stadium. And while you’re there, be sure to check out Black Dog’s great merchandise. Parking at Coastal Carolina University’s lots will also be available, and shuttle details will be provided closer to race day.
